We are not talking about ethnic caricatures but the attempt to ridicule any prophet by cartoons. Even respectful representations are forbidden. The movie about the establishment of Islam did not show any actor playing Muhammad but still aroused demonstrations and protests by Muslims despite it having a positive portrayal of Islam. The love and respect Muslims have for Muhammad should be respected while allowing the right of legitimate criticism.
