If you’ve been following “America’s Got Talent” this season, you’ve no doubt seen the stunning performances by 14 year old, yarmulke-wearing, singer/pianist Edon Pinchot. While contestants on the show are not allowed to give video interviews, The Jewish Channel spoke with the young star and his family by phone about his success on the show. Edon is now one of the top 24 left in the competition. Check out the interview here, starting at the 2:37 mark.

Androsky recently became a reddit sensation when his appearance on CBS’s “The Price is Right” hit youtube. The “skateboard rabbi” was unexpectedly successful with his $1 strategy and made it all the way to The Big Wheel. More surprising is that he did all of this in an altered state.
“I’m an idiot and I took mushrooms, got drunk, then went on The Price Is Right and lied to Drew Carey’s melting face,” wrote Androsky on the summary of his Youtube video.
Way to go Josh! You just strengthened the stereotype by low bidding on TPIR.

The “new” Matisyahu released a preview of his upcoming music video for the new song Sunshine this morning. Sporting [what appears to be] frosted tips, multiple scarves, skinny jeans and no kippah (headcovering), the new baby-faced Matisyahu looks like a love-child between an L.A. hipster and a youth group advisor.
But image isn’t everything. Unchanged is his voice and musical style, which still reminds us why we love him today. What do you think of the new appearance?

This video is a portion of the documentary film, “In Every Generation: Remaking The Szyk Haggadah (Historicana and JKR Productions, 2008), directed by Emmy-nominated Jim Ruxin.
Drawn and first published during the rise of Hitler, the Passover Haggadah of Polish-Jewish artist Arthur Szyk (1894-1951) is a triumphant and enduring work of hope and courage, and the supreme expression of one artist’s love for his people and his heritage. The luxury limited edition of The Szyk Haggadah, limited to only 300 copies, is a landmark of Jewish art and culture.
