It's official.  You can finally toss out last year's free Jewish wall calendar (I'm sure the Seidenstein Brothers Funeral Parks and Mortuary will understand).  

Introducing the Nice Jewish Guys Calendar 2013, the latest in an ongoing series by Adam Cohen.  In what looks like a collection of JDate's finest bachelors, the Nice Jewish Guys Calendar offers a different mensch for every month of the year.

Downright sexy mixed meets deviated septum. 

WARNING: Buying this calendar may increase your urge to go to that young adult mixer this Chanukah.

Huffpo has the story:

Cohen, the TV Producer of Food Network’s Cupcake Wars, got the idea for the calendar in 2010 after joking with friends about how calendars only feature sexy firemen or pin-up style babes.

Now he feels that nice Jewish guys are finally getting the attention they deserve.

“What happened was that I realized I was now carrying the torch for all the nice guys who get passed up in the bar, are still good to their moms, and are a good catch, but the women just don't know it yet.” He told BWB.

The 12 chosen ones are a combination of friends of friends, people who answered online ads, and even some who auditioned.

Those who were too good-looking got turned away for lacking that je ne sais quoi, according to Cohen.

How Technion students light the menorah [VIDEO]

Technion students Eyal Cohen, Tomer Wassermann, Matan Orian and Dvir Dukhan tackle the challenge of lighting the menorah in classic Rube Goldberg fashion using helium balloons, dominos, nitroglycerine, a robot and a number of other gadgets. How do you plan on lighting the menorah this year?

Waking up in perilous times: Jewish groups release campaign ads [VIDEO]

It's that time again. Campaign season is in full swing, and the Super PACs are out to win your vote.

The Jewish Council on Education and Research (JCER) yesterday released a new ad for Obama featuring movie star Samuel L. Jackson. His message for voters: "Wake the f**k up!"
 
Also yesterday, the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) released a 9 minute "mini-documentary" called "Perilous Times," in which they attack Obama for his treatment of Netanyahu and question his pro-Israel credibility.
 
Among other notable campaign ads from the Jewish community are RJC's "Deeds" and JCER's "Let My People Vote 2012" with Sarah Silverman.
