“YouTube World View” live interview with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu

According to a press release from Israel Press, In the footsteps of President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister David Cameron, Benjamin Netanyahu will participate today in YouTube’s World View Project on a live broadcast, answering questions submitted by users from all over the world.

The interview will take place today 10:30 a.m. (PST) and will include an interview in Hebrew and in English, both with live streaming on YouTube. The interview in English will follow the Hebrew.

Over 3,670 questions were submitted to the YouTube World View site from citizens in nearly 90 countries, with a huge number of questions submitted from users across the Arab world, including Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Jordan as well as Japan, Pakistan, Canada, Nepal, Venezuela and others.

One topic which attracted hundreds of questions by users worldwide was the the fate of the kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit, alongside numerous questions submitted on the issue of negotiations and chances for peace with the Palestinians. Other burning issues include the recent upheavals in the Middle East and housing and gas prices in Israel.
