YAD Havdalah Hike
End Shabbat on a natural note with a Havdalah ceremony and schmooze at the summit of Mission Canyon’s Inspiration Point after a moderate four-mile hike. Bring water, a flashlight or headlamp, and dress for hiking. Gil Shaham

In a world of “Toddlers & Tiaras” and “Dance Moms,” the story of overbearing 1920s stage mother Mama Rose and her daughters — “Dainty” June and Louise (Gypsy Rose Lee), who would give anything to get their mother off their backs — still resonates today. The Tony-winning musical comes to life thanks to a book by Arthur Laurents (born Arthur Levine), music by Jule Styne (aka Julius Stein) and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, featuring such songs as “Let Me Entertain You,” “Wherever We Go” and “Everything’s Coming Up Roses.” 8 p.m. $24.
