The NewGround crew—the Jewish and Muslim fellows who participate in the joint program of the Progressive Jewish Alliance and the Muslim Public Affairs Council—spent some time in February recording conversations for StoryCorps. Last week, Krista Tippett highlighted on her NPR program “Speaking of Faith” the conversation between Malka and Aziza, who run the program.

Together these young women are implementing templates of practical relationship that value curiosity over assumptions and understand conflict as part of any relationship. Krista Tippett explores what they are learning from their work in the microcosm of Los Angeles – and the larger universe of risky innovation of which they are part.

Listen in.
