Surprisingly, the U.S. Supreme Court today declined to hear the appeal of a New Mexico photographer who refused to photograph a same-sex ceremony. That refusal violated a New Mexico anti-discirmination law, and the New Mexico Supreme Court previously held that Elane Photography lacked a First Amendment protection against the law.
