Weiner taking leave from Congress

Well, this was only a matter of time: Anthony Weiner, of Twitpiccing his junk fame, is taking leave from Congress and seeking psychiatric help.

Via The New York Times:

“Congressman Weiner departed this morning to seek professional treatment to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person,” said the spokeswoman, Risa Heller. “In light of that, he will request a short leave of absence from the House of Representatives so that he can get evaluated and map out a course of treatment to make himself well.

How can he serve his constituents while seeking mental help for himself? Good question. And you have to wonder how long before leave turns into a resignation.
