The California Assembly’s own sex-tape scandal

He’s not Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian—and I really don’t see this helping his fame—but Mike Duvall, a conservative California Assemblyman from Orange County, has been ensnared by his own sex-tape scandal. Fortunately, nobody is going to see the old blue hair naked. But we did have to hear the vulgarities the adulterous politician uttered to the elected official seated next to him on the dais.

Duvall didn’t realize his mic was live, and he can be heard in this exclusive KCAL video bragging about have sex with female lobbyists. From the LA Times:

On the tape, Duvall describes the “little eye-patch underwear” worn by one of the women. He refers to the age gap between her and him, after a recent birthday made them 18 years apart. “Now, you’re getting old, man, I am going to have to trade you in,” he said he told her.

Later, he tells the colleague about a second woman.

“Sher, Shar, Shar - oh, she is hot. I talked to her yesterday. She goes, ‘So are we finished?’ ” Duvall says, adding that he replied no. He continues: “And I go, ‘You know about the other one, but the other one doesn’t know about you.’ “

Duvall resigned today. Good riddance. The worst part—in a sadly unsurprising twist—is that Duvall was considered a family-values guy.

Anyone still wonder why I refuse to take politician’s words at face value?
