Sure, you could say this music video “Saudis in Audis” is racist. Or you could see it for what it is: parody. As one commenter said:
people need to learn to laugh at themselves every once in a while. Obviously this isn’t meant to be racist, just to poke fun. Should I (a “whiter than sour cream nerd”) be insulted when I hear white and nerdy by weird al? No, it’s hilarious, because I can take a joke.
And if you are wondering why I’m just now blogging about this, it is because law school has left me way out of touch with what’s happening on the interwebs.
