Perry supporter calls Mormonism a cult

Well, this was bound to happen. A prominent Texas megachurch pastor, and Rick Perry supporter, has called Mormonism a cult and told CNN this:
I think Mitt Romney’s a good, moral man, but I think those of us who are born-again followers of Christ should always prefer a competent Christian to a competent non-Christian like Mitt Romney. So that’s why I’m enthusiastic about Rick Perry.
This shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise. During the last election cycle, Romney’s Mormon faith was a big sticking point for a lot of Republican believers and evangelicals said he was not “guided by God.”
