Maybe you have to be a Christian to understand why anyone thinks this is clever. Obama is no Jesus and Palin is no Pilate.
Jesus is not represented as someone who actually changed his society through activism or achieved his position by stabbing rivals and competitors in the back. And Pilate was a rude functionary of an unimaginably cruel and foul and openly brutal absolute dictatorship, a foreign invader and occupier of an iundigenous civilization thirteeen centuries their senior. At least the Nazis tried to hide what they were doing. The Romans were all with the program.
Sarah Palin came back home to Alaska to wild acclaim and pride. Nobody in Alaska is wearing this shirt.
