Instead of just lamenting the demise of Jewcy’s funding, I decided to do my part to save the online Jewish magazine. I’m no messiah, not even a Maccabee—so I guess no holidays are in store for my legacy—but I had a short piece published on Jewcy this morning about the Iraqi shoe-hurler’s trial, which began yesterday.
I never imagined George Bush and I would be sharing war stories. This one was more in spirit than over spirits.
I too, it turns out, have felt the scorn of an Arab shoe sole. You can read more about that here. The story may be familiar to some of you, but it’s worth the read.
