Typical Times. Before we allow ourselves to be lulled by the prose, let’s remember that the investigation of the potential pregnancy of a candidate’s DAUGHTER is a so far down the list of requirements of an administrative and executive officeholder, a leader, and a candidate that it is silly to conceive a process that would qualify any human being for any office. It belongs on a 7,000-question form, not a 70-question form. There is more likelihood that Jayson Blair affirmed to the New York Times that he was not personally a cocaine user than that a given candidate or parent can vouch for the entirely proper behavior of their children. What does the Times advocate, ankle bracelets to track the candidates and their families? Lewinsky-cams in the Oval Office?
