Christmas came early for anti-Semites

Like I said Friday, in allegedly stealing from Jews, Bernard Madoff gave a real gift to anti-Semites. That much was evident from many of the comments my posts have received. On LAWeekly.com, Steven Mikulan writes that the white-wing blogs have been downright giddy:

Over at the neo-naz Stormfront.org, Celtic Welsh Warrior noted that the Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity was among the Jewish organizations allegedly damaged by Madoff:

“Ouch, the pain, the suffering. Jews robbing Jews. Dumb race.
Celebrate Christmas, celebrate being White. Drive a stake into the heart of the Jew Devil with Christmas Season.”

Cheery, I know. These are the same hatemongers who buy Kevin MacDonald’s books and sing his praises.

Keeping up with that Christmas theme Bradley Burston writes in Haaretz:

For the true anti-Semite, Christmas came early this year.

The anti-Semite’s new Santa is Bernard Madoff. The answer to every Jew-hater’s wish list. The Aryan Nation at its most delusional couldn’t have come up with anything to rival this:

The former chairman of Nasdaq turns out, also, to be treasurer of the board of trustees at Yeshiva University and chairman of the university’s business school. Rich beyond human comprehension, he handles fortunes for others, buying and selling in a trading empire that skirts investment banks and other possible sources of regulation. He redefines avarice, knowingly and personally bilking charities and retirees in the most classic of con games.

Even better, for those obsessed with the idea that Jews control finance, entertainment and the media, is the idea that Madoff’s greed was uncontrollable enough that he targeted fellow Jews, even Holocaust survivors, some of them his own friends, as well as Israeli companies who insured Jews, including Holocaust survivors.

The beauty part, for the anti-Semite: Madoff’s machinations, which could have been put to use for the sake of humanity, have directly harmed Jewish welfare and charity institutions.

He has managed to harm contemporary Jewry in ways anti-Semites could only dream about.

Click here for the rest. To be clear, though, Burston confuses losses at the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles ($6.4 million) with those made by the Jewish Community Foundation ($25.5 million on paper; $18 million in original investments).

For my part, I’ve been shocked not that the largest investor fraud in U.S. history has brought out the crazies, but how just mainstream some of them seem to be. Having only experienced anti-Semitism in its most mild forms, I often forget how deep-rooted these prejudices are. As a friend wrote on my Facebook wall:

“Jews and money is a time-honored bigot flashpoint. I know people in the world really believe this. I believe these people are fine upstanding citizens and are just like you and me. Well liked, polite. But behind the anonymity that Internet comment boards provide, they can let their true beliefs out that they keep inside in polite company and they don’t have to couch their words. They can be as bad as they wanna be.”

I do not see the point to any of your blogs on Madoff. They did not contain anything original or worthwhile with one exception: The rabid Jew hating filth that was inevitably posted in response to your reckless headlines such as “End of the Jews”. Unfortunately, you removed many of those postings, thereby removing any value those blogs about Madoff contained.
You are just beginning to find out about Jew hating ? I don’t think you know what Jew hating is. The litmus test for a true Jew hater is when the Jew hater is willing to harm himself in order to harm Jews. When you understand that concept, you will understand Jew hating. Maybe you can visit Meron, or Safed, take a real Kabbalah class, and it will be explained for you. Or watch No Country For Old Men, that is a good representation of a focused metaphysical evil. The kind that is methodically directed at the Jews.

I removed some offensive comments, specifically two filled with ignorant excerpted Talmudic quotes.  Spam, to my eyes.

I am the Webmaster.  That’s my job. 

No posts by Brad were removed.  If you don’t know the difference between blog posts and blog comments, try looking them up on Google.

Regardless, whoever spews sin and evil i truly believe that goodness will win somehow and someway. Madoff made off with money, proving it as the biggest root to evil.
You can have too much and too little.  Madoff and his Palm beach ilk snobs in bragging dragged themselves into one of the deadly sins. In this life we me all strive for a balance of using all of God’s gifts carefully. Worhip, following rules and laws without honesty and justice is an abomination to the judeo-Christian God. A jew like Madoff, is the worst jew hater because he hides behind piety. No court in this world, at his age can adequately judge him. While I trust that God is ultimately loving he will fete out appropriate punishment in the next life.

Excuse me, “Greenberg”, you are not a Jew at all so you can’t be a self hating Jew, just a same ole same ole Jew hater. I knew it.

... he often gets the details of Judaism wrong - as opposed to the habits of LA-style Jewish community life - because he admittedly knows little about what he often writes about. In fact, he describes himself as “a God fearing Christian” and regular churchgoer.

What a sad pathetic state of affairs when the writer for a Jewish Journal is a fraud?  Is that like the pot calling the Kettle Black ?

Brad, about half the links given by Mikulan in the LA Weekly article don’t qualify as either “white-wing” or “ultra-right.” About 3 of them are either ultra-left or libertarian. Mikulan’s story should really have been about antisemitism existing on BOTH extremes of the political/social spectrum.

Have you never heard of Larry “Lucky” Silverstein or his pal Judge Mukasey, now Attorney General Mukasey?

Anyone who is not blind knows the Twin Towers were destroyed with explosives and low yield nuclear weapons.  In slow motion, a five year old could tell that the jet which hit the south tower was computer generated.  The jet which hit the north tower never took off.  Don’t even ask what the empty crater in Pennsylvania was for.  Maybe it was intended to confuse unbelievers, so they would think that the jet was shot down.  It actually landed at Cleveland Hopkins airport.  Nor was there any wreckage at the Pentagon, except a few planted scraps.  I know, since I live in Alexandria, Virginia and I looked at the Pentagon late in the afternoon on September 11, 2001.  At the time, I assumed that the wreckage was hauled away, although I could not understand why it was done so soon.
