Celebrating Shabbat while fighting Hitler

No, this is not about Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” or even the real basterds. It’s about Max Fuchs. (Who’s this Fuchs I keep hearing about?) He was an American soldier in World War II who on a single Shabbat served as the cantor on a German battlefield.
