Students at an Israeli high school were in an uproar on Monday after a teacher mistakenly sent them an internal email that spelled out what faculty members really thought about them.
Counterterrorism officials from five U.S. cities met with their counterparts in Israel. Ten officials from five major cities -- New York; Los Angeles; Oakland, Calif.; Austin, Texas; and Houston -- met in mid-October with representatives of Israel's police, the Jerusalem Post reported. The tour focused on "technological and operational advances in counterterrorism," according to the American Jewish Committee's Project Interchange, which organized the tour.
Kalkilya is surrounded on all sides by what Israel calls the separation fence, a barrier the government says it must build to protect its citizens from suicide bombers, snipers and other Palestinian terrorists.
Residents of Kalkilya say it has turned their city into a ghetto.
But Kfar Saba residents are solidly behind the wall.
