Actor-comedian Jeff Garlin (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), who played studio executive Mort Meyers on “Arrested Development,” welcomes series creator and executive producer Mitch Hurwitz to the “Jeff Garlin in Conversation With …” series at the Largo. With a new season of “Arrested Development” slated to air on Netflix in 2013, followed by a feature film, you can bet questions will fly about the Bluth dysfunctional family reunion.
An hour before the start of Jeff Garlin’s recent stand-up show at Upright Citizens Brigade in Hollywood, a huge line had formed around the block on Franklin Avenue, obstructing the entrances to adjacent cafes and a clothing store.
Jeff Garlin loves being Jewish. He's a borscht-eating, challah-noshing, temple-going, "big bowl of Jewish," as he so proudly describes himself. A proud Jew at home, Garlin also plays one on television.
