Children’s books make Passover come alive

Years ago, Nancy Steiner set out to make her family seder a bit more entertaining for her young kids. She wrote a poem that became very popular among family and friends.

On all other nights I'm required to act like a 25-year-old adult, but on this first night -- being the youngest person at my seder table -- I get to be a kid.

Cousin Sima

In a perfect world, my cousin Sima and I would have grown up together. Almost exactly a year apart, we would have talked in secret code, tormented our younger siblings and giggled together at family seders. We would have shared our adolescent crushes and angst, and danced at each other's weddings.
