Last night was the gala opening night of the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival and it was super.  Tons of folks showed up, lots of celebrities, and a wonderful film screened called Ten from Your Show of Shows.  Wonderful comedy starring the hysterical Sid Caeser, Carl Reiner, Imogene Coco and others.  After the screening there was a fascinating discussion with Carl Reiner and Phil Rosenthal and Mr. Reiner discussed his work.  Mr. Reiner who is 92, continues to write and create, and has just released a new book.  He said his early influences were the Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, and others.

The film festival is on-going until May 8th, for more information or tickets visit lafilmfest.org.
