This morning I went to a very interesting reading by Susan Minot, author of Thirty Girls. It was sponsored by PEN Center USA.  Ms. Minot discussed her book and working life.  The book tells the heartbreaking tale of girls taken hostage by rebels in Uganda, and is based on a true story.  To find out more about PEN Center USA or join, visit penusa.org.
