Rob Eshman created the blog Serious Stern on June 17, 2009, when loving Howard was often a lonely and unpopular thing to do. Then as now, Serious Stern is devoted to a serious (hence the name) exploration of the cultural impact of Howard Stern.
Rob is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles and jewishjournal.com. Serving a community of 600,000, The Jewish Journal is the largest Jewish weekly outside New York City.
The Journal’s www.jewishjournal.com is a source of news, opinion and insight for people around the world, with over 1 million unique users each month.
The Journal is an independent not-for-profit publication, unaffiliated with any movement or institution.
Rob joined the staff of The Journal in 1993 and became Editor in 2000 and Publisher in 2009. A native of Encino, CA, he graduated from Dartmouth College and now lives in Venice with his wife, Rabbi Naomi Levy, their two children, two rescue dogs, three rescue chickens, and two rescue pygmy goats.
