Commemorating the Holocaust

Two thousand people gathered in Pan Pacific Park Sun., April 30, to commemorate the 6 million Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust. Sponsored by the Los Angeles Holocaust Memorial Monument Fund, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and Second Generation, the event featured speakers and a memorial tribute. "It is an onerous duty to remember mass murder of men, women and children by the millions," said Jeane J. Kirkpatrick, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations.
