"Picture LA/TA 2000: A Teen Photography Exhibit"

at the Skirball Cultural Center, is a rich collection of photographs representing the creative work of young people of diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds from both cities. The exhibit brings into focus the distinctions of each community, as well as the commonalities that unify people across international and cultural borders. Admission to the Ruby Gallery is free. "Manifest" is a theatrical vaudeville about the Holocaust and resistance in the death camps of Auschwitz Birkenau, with klezmer music and a Dadaist bent.
