Nikki Tabibian

Inspired by the works of Sholom Aleichem and the guilt of her great grandmother Sara (may she rest in peace), Le’chaim to Laughter documents the daily struggle of a conservative Jew and her willingness to remain kosher in a secular world. Written by 17-year-old Nikki Tabibian, the blog is an ode to schmoozing, schmucks and the witty pursuits of a teen in the city. Sprinkling otherwise bleak situations with a touch of laughter, Tabibian stays true to the spirit of Judaism, as a wise woman once said, “G-d has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.” -Sarah, Genesis 17:17.
