Fire! That's what you find in this week's parsha. The Israelites are taught about the sacrifices. Ever since the Temple was destroyed, Jews stopped sacrificing animals to God. Instead, they pray. Praying is another way of connecting with God. And instead of using fire to send our prayers up, we use words.

Words are like fire. Fire can be very wonderful: it can warm you, it can cook your food. But fire can be dangerous and destructive. It's the same way with words. Make sure you use words that are warming, loving and helpful. Be careful not to use words that will hurt. If you do, you might end up getting burned.
