  • Happy Birthday Son

    By Ilana Angel

    January 17, 2015 | 9:31 pm

Today is my son's birthday. It feels like just yesterday when I had my only child and it is crazy that he is now 19. I have loved him for not only his entire life, but mine. I wanted to be a mother from the time I was a little girl and there are not enough words to clearly express... read on

  • Just Another Day

    By Ilana Angel

    January 14, 2015 | 6:00 pm

I woke up this morning with a smile on my face. The sun was shining in through my bedroom window, the cat was asleep by my head, and I could hear my son shuffling around his room. I called out good morning and told him I loved him. He called back he loved me too, then came to... read on

  • Happy Holidays

    By Ilana Angel

    December 25, 2014 | 9:40 am

I am taking a few days off from chronicling my life, to live my life. I look forward to catching up on sleep, hanging out with my son, seeing friends, reading, resting, and simply not working. I wish you all a happy and healthy holiday, whatever holiday it is you celebrate. Be safe, be happy, and be kind. I will be back on Sunday rested, probably hung over, and ready to count down to the end of 2014. Have a great weekend everyone. Don’t work too hard, enjoy the season, and keep the faith.

    December 19, 2014 | 8:22 am

Last night at a holiday party I was chatting with my friend David about dating. He is charming, handsome, intelligent, Jewish all the way through his soul, and being in his presence is powerful. I don't see him often but when I do I find myself waiting for him to say something... read on

    By Ilana Angel

    December 15, 2014 | 7:50 am

I love Words With Friends. I play mostly against readers of my blog. They are, for the most part, wonderful people. I love when a new game starts and they tell me who they are as I may not recognize them from social media. It is great and they feel like they know me, which I take... read on
