Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion Part 2

I watched the reunion this week like a fan.  I sat on the couch with my cat, had a glass of wine, and enjoyed the show.  I thought it was interesting and entertaining.  That said, I also found it to be a great big serving of steaming hot crap.  If I didn’t pick sides before I watched, I certainly have now.

Brandi has joined in with the ladies this week and Andy jumps right in.  Brandy is a hoot and if it were not for her many of us would not be watching this crap fest. Brandi is the young, beautiful, single one so there is clearly a lot of jealousy from those without strong marriages.

Adrienne and Kyle are focused on being mean to her, which makes me think maybe there is not a lot of hanky panky going on in their marriages. Lisa and Ken are perfection so she could care less.  Taylor swallows men whole so who cares about her, and Camille is in love so she’s cool..

Kyle is just mean and Adrienne’s face is pulled so tight I don’t take anything she says seriously.  I’m not sure why we need to talk about Brandi’s bikini for so long.  She has a rocking body, move on.  Jealousy makes women mean. Instead of hating on Brandi, Kyle should worry about herself.

Andy asks Kyle why she was so mean to Brandi when she came on and Kyle says she was defensive and had her guard up towards the new girl.  Not buying it.  Klye was mean to Brandi because she is mean.  She is bitchy and catty and not a nice girl.  Any other explanation is lame.

Kyle tells us she knows she was mean and ridiculous but I’m not buying that either.  Kyle is doing damage control but it’s too late.  Brandi saying she was going to kill Kyle was about as serious as Russell telling Camille he was going to sue her.  Funny what these chicks choose to hang on to.

Brandi is sorry things got out of hand, but she‘s not sorry she said Kim was using something because clearly she was.  Kyle is annoyed Brandi said meth when it was not Kim’s issue, but lets get real, Kim was doing more than drinking.  Kim is, in my opinion, an alcoholic and drug user.

Brandi calls Kim and Kyle out for being bullies, but is gracious in forgiving them, but then Taylor jumps in.  Important for Taylor to understand that we do not care to hear anything she says.  Taylor is sticking up for Kyle while Kyle sits there saying nothing, which implies she was lying.

Kyle is annoyed people are blaming her for Kim hiding Brandi’s crutches, but it was as much Kyle as Kim.  Kyle knew where the crutches were and never said anything.  She could have helped Brandi and told Kim she didn’t because Kim was wasted and wouldn’t remember.

We are twelve minutes in and I’m not into blogging about it anymore.  Kyle is horrible, Adrienne is ridiculous, and Taylor is a pathological liar.  Another 45 minutes might be too much for me.  A reader told me today I was too negative.  Hard to not be when watching this garbage!

We learn Brandi uses cuss words more than anyone else, and Camille and Adrienne the least.  It’s a stupid segment and the only thing that came out of it was I noticed how fake Kyle’s laugh is.  She sounds like a chicken.  We also see the tension between Adrienne and Lisa.

Adrienne is not missing any opportunity to be mean to Lisa and Lisa seems a little worn out by it.  Andy’s questions are stupid this week and not nearly as good as past reunions.  Kyle thinks Brandi is slutty, but I think doing the splits on a table at a party is whorish so who cares?

Brandi is being Brandi and the others are all grimacing at her crassness, but we know they are just as crass.  The Pollyanna routine is not working.  Kyle can get in the gutter with Brandi and we all know it.  I like the gutter and think Kyle is silly for not owning the gutter.

Kyle is telling us the difference between slutty and sexy.  Really?  Is there a chapter about that in her book?  How did this woman even get a book deal? I have watched Kyle hang onto the coattails of her sister and nieces for years and she should have written a book about that instead.

Taylor let’s us know that no British people live in Oklahoma, which is why she did not understand Lisa’s humor.  Lisa is talking about wanting to help Taylor, and the other ladies think it’s weird that Lisa and Taylor became friendly so quickly.  These chicks are really immature.

Are we like this with our friends?  I don’t think so. Taylor is talking about how mean Lisa’s dog is on Twitter.  Is she serious?  Taylor is mad because of a dog’s Twitter?  Brandi comments on it and Taylor lashes out that she is not talking to her.  Taylor is a loose cannon.

Important to note that if Andy Cohen does not make Brandi a full time housewife he has lost his mind.  Well he lost his mind when he put this pathetic season on the air so it won’t be lloosing his mind as much as proving he is a complete moron who is out of touch with the audience.

We’re at minute 24 and I have put down the wine and poured a cocktail. Adrienne’s face is not moving, she’s talking, but it’s not moving.  Adrienne is mad Brandi told Lisa she spoke about her behind her back.  She does not deny it, but is annoyed Brandi told her.  Adrienne is cranky.

Camille calls Taylor a liar, while Kyle wants us to believe she does not want drama in her life.  Really?  Brandi is calling Adrienne out on her crap, then Lisa calls Adrienne out too, and Adrienne just sits there licking her lips and looking like a fool.  Adrienne brings nothing to this show.

Camille calls Taylor out on her lies, and Kyle hides behind her problems with Kim as a way to deflect everything off of her.  Brandi tells us she spoke with Russell and Taylor says she is a liar.  I am with Brandi on this.  I feel, in my heart, that Taylor is lying about Russell.  It’s tragic.

Brandi says what all of the world is thinking, and I have written about for months.  Why is she writing a book trashing Russell when his body is not cold?  Taylor could have waited to write her book. She could have talked about her childhood and marriage without mentioning Russell.

What she has done is chronicle the story of a monster for her child.  Taylor is an opportunist and I believe part of the reason Russell took his own life was because of her lying.  She is screaming that Russell was a master manipulator so clearly she learned a few things from him.

Taylor calls out Brandi for “slashing” her ex-husband’s tires, Brandi admits it and Taylor seems to think it paints Brandi in a bad light.  What it does is show she is human and was a woman with a broken heart.  She slashed tires. Taylor wrote a book of lies.  Everyone is different.

Sidebar:  Bravo keeps showing commercials for Bethenny Frankel’s show and how they were lost at sea with a broken GPS.  IT”S ALL A LIE.  I spoke with the captain of her “rescue boat” and the United States Coast Guard, and the GPS was not broken.  It was all made up for her show.

Brandi is disgusted with Taylor’s book, Kyle says Brandi needs to have compassion for Taylor because her husband died, and Brandi is clearly trying to control herself from getting up off the couch like our beloved Teresa, and smacking the crap out of Kyle.  I dig Brandi.

Kyle can try to back peddle from her behavior all season but it’s too late. She is horrible.  We have seen her true self and we don’t like it.  We’re not dumb Kyle.  Kyle is a fame whore. A lot of reality fans read my blog and many did not read her book because of this season.

Kyle wants us to think she thought the show would be good for Kim.  Seriously?  How is the pressure of a reality show a good idea for an addict?  Kyle is selfish, has no connection to her sister, and is incapable of having meaningful relationships with women.

Important to note that my opinions of this show are based on this show.  I do not know these women and this blog is show specific.  I am writing about the characters I am shown by Bravo.  That said, the reunion is the real them, and my opinions are not changing.  Just saying.

Kyle then tells us that as viewers, we are not allowed to have opinions because we don’t see everything. Really?  Kyle is a bitch and she is now calling us out.  She has a job because we watch and she is going to throw us under the bus?  Not only is she mean, but she is ungrateful.

There is now a long segment on Camille and because I’m losing my patience with this show I will simply say I love her, am happy for her and her new boyfriend, and think Kelsey Grammer is a cheating pig.  Just because Camille changed how we view her does not mean Kyle can.

Andy is going on and on about Camille making a calculated move to make her herself look better this season and I think calculated is the wrong word. She made a conscious effort to behave in a positive and fun way.  It was not calculated, which implies fake.  It was conscious.

Andy asked Taylor if her lips have gotten smaller and she says no.  My theory is that she lies so much her nose is growing, which makes her lips look smaller.  Just a thought.  Then Andy brings up Taylor’s book and she tells us she wrote it to help women with low self-esteem.

She tells us Russell abused her every 6 weeks for the last 5 years. She sounds like she is quoting a self help book.  She has been lying for so long she is believing her own lies.  I am not saying there was not bad stuff happening in her home, but I don’t buy all the stories.

Kyle and Adrienne talking about the book and Taylor makes me sick.  Taylor is going out of her way to slander this man and seems to forget that he has children, one of which is her child.  She has painted a horrible picture for this little girl and it’s so sad to me.  What is she thinking?

She says Russell was perhaps killed rather than killing himself, and smiles coyly at Andy.  This woman is not well and is putting her selfish needs in front of the well being of her child.  Next week looks like another sack of crap as we watch Kyle make Kim’s issues all about her.

This season has been hard and I am thrilled there is only one week left. Andy Cohen and Bravo need to really think about this show and how to bring them all back.  I will say now, with complete conviction and truth, that if Brandi is not there to give us some fun I’m out.  Just keeping it real.

I felt the same way while watching pt. 2 of this reunion. I actually only half watched this season because I just could not handle seeing Taylor on my tv screen, but I decided I have to watch the reunions to see what I missed. What happened to Kyle this season? I loved her the first season, but I cannot stand her anymore. Actually I think she was always this mean and cold blooded but I overlooked that last season, but not anymore. I am definitely on Team Lisa, Brandi, and Camille!

Comment by Victoria on 2/06/12 at 11:33 pm

I totally agree with you but to add my 2 cents, I think Brandi is clearly too good for these women and too good for this show.  If they recast all the women except Brandi, there might be a great show. While Lisa and Camille were great this season too, their insistance on “supporting” Taylor and all her lies is a huge turnoff for me. I just don’t think I can get past it for future seasons.  In one way or another, each of the ladies on the show lost me at some point in the season. For Lisa, it was on WWHL tonight saying she believes Taylor. There is no fun left in this show and I’m out.  Hoping the OC brings a more entertaining experience…sigh

Comment by katbritton08 on 2/07/12 at 12:02 am

Agreed about Brandi.  She needs to be on the show next season because she is spirited.  I rather appreciated how she wasn’t letting Kyle, Adrienne or Taylor get away with anything tonight.
Why on earth does Taylor care about Eddie Cibrian’s tires being slashed, anyway?  Is that the best she’s got?  And doesn’t she have more important things going on in her life right now?  I don’t know what to believe about her and Russell, but she is a mess.  That smile she gave after hinting that her husband may have been murdered was odd.  I don’t see how her writing a book will save womens’ lives either.  Something about her just doesn’t ring true.  I also find her to be mean.  She was mean to Kim the first season, and now she’s mean to Brandi.
Adrienne is a loon.
And as much as it pains me to say this (because Kyle was in one of my favorite childhood films), Kyle seems to be the delusional one this season.
Spot on recap!

Comment by JuliaDomna on 2/07/12 at 12:07 am

I see it completely different. I don’t think Kyle is any meaner than any of them. Yeah she has her issues, and most of them surround her sister, but I certainly don’t think her motive is to get more attention. It’s not easy to deal with a family member with an addiction.
Brandi is over the top and convinced that her opinion is the only one that matters. Being honest doesn’t mean being rude, or not caring how your being honest hurts people. I think she’s acting out over being dumped, but I could be wrong. She could just be a selfish loudmouth with no self control.
I think there’s more to Lisa than meets the eye. She might be as manipulative as Kyle says. I’m gonna keep watching and see

“My theory is that she lies so much her nose is growing, which makes her lips look smaller”, Love that!! LOL

Loved your take on the ladies.  I think Brandi is a breath of fresh air in that stuffy crowd.  How sad to have to live your life following the self-imposed rules of Beverly Hills.  I think Taylor is totally threatend by Brandi—without Russell, what standing does she have now?  I think Camille will show us her fun, wild side Season 3—so she better be asked back!  I could live without the boring Adrienne, who without Paul is really rather dull.  And funny how she has so quickly turned on Brandi.  And I think who really cares tat Brandi slashed Eddie’s tires. Being cheated on is a total gut rentching expierence, but to have it done so publically would bring the rage out of most passionate women.  Tire slashing is pretty harmless.

Hi Ilana!  Could not agree with you more!  Brandi rocks and they are so jealous of her.  Taylor is so disgusting and vile as a human being…she truly is sick.  Adrienne is starting to look like Jocelyn Woldenstein, the Cat lady and her outfits and make up are so tacky and trashy looking plus she was being a total nasty bitch!  I have not posted in a while but always read your blog faithfully.  I hope all is well with you and your son! XO

Comment by irene on 2/07/12 at 5:02 am

This reunion is really hard to watch.  To have to re-hash all the stuff that went on this season is too much, especially for Brandi.  The other women were/are so mean to her.  I can’t stand Kyle, she is a bully and so fake.  Brandi is the only one who speaks her mind.  Love her and hope she is a permenant cast member next season. She, Lisa and Camille are the only ones worth watching. Thanks for a great re-cap!

Comment by brinn s on 2/07/12 at 5:42 am

Brandi has my vote.

For a show that is as “inauthentic” as this one, she is as close to as anyone on there.

Perhaps not the sharpest knife in the drawer, Brandi is not above revealing the duplicity of these women.  Note how quickly they “moved on” when Brandi mentioned running into Russell who explained the contents and reason for that famous e-mail: Taylor encouraged him to do it and it mad him unhappy.

Then Taylor accuses Camille of something - a fact she strenuously denied by calling Taylor a liar - and they moved on again.  Anything to “protect poor Taylor”.

Comment by Donna on 2/07/12 at 6:29 am

“My theory is her nose is growing which makes her lips look smaller” made me laugh out loud.  If Trailor cared so much about abused women, why isn’t she donating some of the proceeds from her book to that cause?  I love Camille, too and I think Kyle really did say the stuff Camille claimed she daid last season.

Comment by SandiTD on 2/07/12 at 6:58 am

I am SICK SICK SICK of all of Taylor’s lies. ENOUGH. She’s the worst HW in the history of HWs. I love that Brandi called her out on her crap. And I hope the people that were in business with her and Russell shed some truth on her lies. I don’t know what on between Taylor and Russell, but her making money off of his death is disgusting.

Comment by It'sOnlyTuesday? on 2/07/12 at 7:02 am

I actually want to like Kyle but I find it impossible when she refuses to take any responsibility for her own behavior. How low to push it all off on Kim. Brandi’s right with everything she said but especially about her missing crutches - Kyle knew where they were, we are re-shown the scene of her snickering when Kim is telling her what she did. And she can’t evem say ” You’re right, I should have given them to you.” Pathetic! The worst Brandi related scene was at Kyle’s charity event when they’re all laughing at Brandi 10 feet away - Kyle was hoding court with her posse of pathetic hangers on cackling away. I don’t know who was the loudest or most annoying, Taylor with her gaping maw or Dana and her overt wannabe behavior.

Comment by Liz on 2/07/12 at 7:07 am

Great recap.  You nailed Kyle’s persona.  She is horrible and I can’t bear watching her. Kim isn’t much better, but I feel sorry for her having such a vile monster for a sister. Taylor is a lying maniac.  She can’t keep her stories straight and most of the fan base sees through it.  Adrienne is a lifeless, plastic doll.  So petty and boring.  Love Brandi, Lisa and Camille.  And I have to believe that what Camille indicated about Kyle last season was true.  She truely is a bully.

Comment by KatNC on 2/07/12 at 7:16 am

Apparently writing the book has done not one thing to mentally help Taylor. She clearly needs to be out of the spotlight and be in a place where she can be mentally rehabbed because she is so out of reality that I am not sure she is sure what really did take place. Usually one will not write a book until they themselves have been fixed..Taylor should have waited on the book. It has been said that *the truth shall set you free*  This book has not set Taylor free so I really wonder about the truth of the book!!!

Comment by DonnaLee on 2/07/12 at 7:29 am

Off topic… Just wanted to say I’m sorry people harass you so much on Twitter. I would never follow such hate. Sad that grown ups often act worse than children. No wonder bullying is so bad these days… consider who these kids have to look up to. Anyway…LOVE YOU!

Comment by Dizzy on 2/07/12 at 7:51 am

It’s funny how it takes just one person to ruin a good thing.  after this reunion show and seeing how mean and fake these women are to eachother..Kyle, Taylor, and Adrienne that is, really left a bad taste in my mouth. First of all I think that TAYLOR will be the the reason this show will eventually fail. I don’t think that too many “abused” women can relate to a women who has made millions off her situation. I also think that it will come out that she is a liar who was trying to keep her 15 min. of fame burning a little longer.KYLE needs to be told that just because she has the BIGGEST mouth doesn’t mean she is always right!! Someone on that show needs to put her in her place!! her crappy dispostion towards everyone, and the CRYING is getting so played out!! I think the only way to save this show is buy adding Brandi in as a full timer. She atleast adds a little spark to a flame that is burning out rather quickly.

Comment by peggy cullen on 2/07/12 at 8:00 am

I think there is more than meets the eye with Adrienne and Lisa. I don’t think Lisa is by no means a little angel and I don’t get why everyone is feeling sorry for her. She’s a big girl and can handle her own. She likes to give these little digs or back handed compliments and play them off as she was joking. And to allow her dog to drink out of someone’s crystal glass is just plain rude! Brandi is trying too hard to make herself relevant by trying to stir the pot every chance she gets. Like last night when Andy called her out that she had said everyone was talking behind Lisa’s back and she backed herself up. It turns out she heard from someone who works for Adrienne saying stuff. I think Adrienne is a class act and does not have time for drama nor does she need it to make herself relevant.

Comment by shuggie on 2/07/12 at 8:11 am

Ilana - I say it every week, but I agree with your take on everything!  Excellent recap, you catch every nuance.  Brandi held her own.  Taylor keeps showing her true colors by bringing up Eddie’s slashed tires at the moment Brandi is recounting a conversation with Russel.  Talk about deflection.  Oh my goodness, that was hilarious when Taylor seemed mad at Giggy’s blogs!

This reunion was hard to watch, it was boring, the questions weren’t very good, as you say.  I feel Andy is afraid to get any lady too mad at him because he wants them back so he walks on egg shells.

What is up with Kyle’s ancient/stale/unfunny references?  The chess player…Scary Spice…the Spice Girls broke up a decade ago.

Comment by SharonLea on 2/07/12 at 11:14 am

The statistic of how many women were abused/killed(?) daily that Taylor used to justify writing her memoir was presumptuous. Sadly, I don’t believe Taylor wrote her book to help other women as much as for mercenary reasons. There are tons of PSA’s, news stories, women shelters, Lifetime movies, etc. that abused women can avail themselves to get information and inspiration. Volunteering at a women’s shelter for years didn’t motivate Taylor to leave her “abuser” until Russell’s financial situation became dire. It’s arrogance for Taylor to think her personal story will stem the rate of women being abused daily. If anything, Taylor’s lack of integrity undermines the credibility of abused women and the issue of domestic violence. We will never know the truth of Taylor’s story because the only witness to her alleged abuse conveniently and tragically committing suicide.

Comment by Viewer on 2/07/12 at 12:40 pm

I don’t know how they can possibly keep Taylor.  I don’t know what to believe, but I just don’t think her life belongs on reality TV.  She said she did the show to keep her safe from her husband.  Well, he’s gone now, so she’s safe.  She can get off my screen.  And Adrienne lost me this season too.  It’s like producers told her to stir up more drama, so she did, and it all ended up sounding stupid.

Comment by Michelle on 2/07/12 at 1:39 pm

Another great recap!!  I am still with you on all points.  Kyle made me so angry.  A mature way to handle the whole crutches deal was to apologize to Brandi!  Kyle just kept saying that she didn’t hide them, but she KNEW where they were.  Ummmmm….Kim, how is it under that bus?  It is truly no wonder why Kim has issues.  Kyle treats her so badly and I’m getting so sick and tired of watching the two of them!  Andy was trying to get some sh** going last night with Camille, did you catch that?  What is going on w/ Adrienne?  I use to really like her…these reunions are giving me another look and I don’t like it.

Comment by Stefanie on 2/07/12 at 1:52 pm

I boycotted the show this season but have watched the reunions & found myself cringing during much of it.  I don’t customarily tune into a show to be made uncomfortable.  It’s not just the cast & their dysfunctional associations; it’s also the odious Mr. Cohen who can’t seem to host in a professional manner.  This entire attempt at a reunion by Bravo is a fiasco & has revealed little beyond the clumsy deceits & mean spiritedness of cast & crew.
Thanks for your perspective.

Comment by MaggieG on 2/07/12 at 2:02 pm

We could call this show GLAREFEST 2012. All those glares form Kyle, Taylor, and Adrienne. Or is it just bad plastic surgery. Taylor needs help, she is
delusional. She is a liar. Real people who had domestic problems don’t waive it around like a flag. People who had spouses who commited suicide don’t smile about the death. I hope they don’t bring the girls from the bitchy couch back

Comment by Dawn on 2/07/12 at 2:06 pm

Another spot on review.

Kyle and Taylor are the worst!

Honestly the RHOBH needs a “tune up,” a major one! I hope Bravo doesnt let season 3 be like the last season of RHONY.

Comment by CaliSteve on 2/07/12 at 2:14 pm

Part II was very revealing, I think the ladies showed their true selves. I can’t stomach Kyle, she’s so mean and childish and believes she’s so very special, she has a beautiful family, you would think that would be her saving grace and humble her a bit. Taylor is disturbed on so many levels I can’t begin to comment other than the timing of her book, how could Taylor have any distance or hindsight about her marriage so soon after Russell’s death, I don’t believe her book will help anyone but her. All the other ladies are beautiful and interesting, whatever their issues are, except Adrienne who is boring and weird looking.

Comment by jselbel on 2/07/12 at 4:03 pm

Ilana you are very gifted writer. Your observations are impartial and razor sharp. You write with a lovely spontaneous and succint humour unawares too. I know that reality shows which center around human relationships, court and provoke dramas. However, I hope these women are eventually opened to oppertunities, that advances their collective and personal dynamics. I dig Brandi too, Lisa and Camille also and last but not least you.
Just an aside: Ilana, I have seen your recent literal ‘initiation by fire’ on twitterverse. You have come through the other side unconsumed, instead refined: naturally, as gold. The rainfall and the sunshine causes growth. Keep rising. You are appreciated, and you are very good. wink

Comment by p1 on 2/07/12 at 4:12 pm

Once again I agree with your view of the reunion and the housewives. It’s been hard to watch this season due to Russell’s suicide and Kim’s tenuous grip on reality with that (thank goodness) former boyfriend. In terms of Kim, I can honestly say that I feel bad for her. I know Kyle tries to play it down but Kim was her family’s money maker. When they announced the cast of RHOBH, I immediately recognized Kim Richards. As for Kyle, I didn’t know she was a child actor. I can only imagine what it was like for Kim growing up as a Disney staple. Remember Britney Spear’s meltdown? The dichotomy is Kyle’s the responsible one with the great husband and marriage & Kim is the emotional one with one too many divorces in her past. I’m glad Kim went to rehab & I hope that she asserts her position as the older sister. That’s right Kyle, you are not her mother.

Comment by Chamein on 2/07/12 at 4:21 pm

I am really surprised by the venom being spewed at Taylor here in this blog. She is being called a liar and everyone seems to think that they “know” her past domestic situation with Russell.  Even the other housewives aren’t sure of what took place.  The ignorance with which domestic violence is treated by the people on this blog and some of the housewives on the show is appalling.  I would not characterize Taylor as a liar.  Traditionally, domestic violence victims are disbelieved and not taken seriously, which is what seems to be happening here.  There isn’t a prototype of a domestic violence victim and how they are “supposed to act.”  For those that analyze every gesture and body language of Taylor’s and “think” they see deception at every turn, please shut up.  You don’t know what you are talking about.

Comment by Avisval on 2/07/12 at 5:22 pm

The thing that is clear to me is that Taylor has been lying about the abuse. She loves money and more than that she wants attention and maybe that’s her way of getting it.  How could she keep on lying so much about Russell.  He is gone now.  She needs major Mental Health therapy.

Comment by gloria on 2/07/12 at 8:15 pm

Thanks Ilana…I totally agree with all of your observations! Please read Diane Dimond’s story in Newsweek about Taylor Trash. Taylor is such a pathological liar! It makes me sick she’s out pimping this book when it hasn’t even been six months since his passing. She is a cold-hearted, money-grubbing grifter.

Comment by ali on 2/07/12 at 8:16 pm

As usual you are on the money.  The only thing I can add is I wish I knew why Lisa really moved.  There was a lot of tension between the two.hmmm.  Lisa and Brandi seem to be the only one who even come close to being “truthful”.  lol.  Camille I am giving a pass-she’s happy and not out to get anyone this season.  Thanks again for the great recap.  Beverly Hills has nothing to be proud of in these women.  I like their"husbands” better.  lol.  Oh btw-I don’t believe Taylor.  No one would really want their child to read a book like the one she’s pushing.  The man is dead- he can’t defend himself.  Sounds like she’s just trying to get out of the “money” (business) problems.  Case in point-60k on a kids’ birthday!!!!!!

Comment by eve on 2/08/12 at 12:54 pm

llana you are so right and so damn funny…..I rolled on the floor with tears in my eyes reading your commentary.  Keep the comments coming girl.  We love them.

Comment by Judy on 2/08/12 at 3:19 pm

Brandi’s a breath of fresh air! Taylor has to GO. Kyle’s mean. But Brandi is close to there age. Brandi’s 39, Taylor’s 42, Kyle 43. She’s only younger by 3 years but I like her!!

Comment by Liza on 2/08/12 at 10:23 pm

As someone who has experienced domestic violence, I can say that Taylor Armstrong does not speak for me.  I do not relate to her “message,” whatever that may be.  If I were still in an abusive relationship, she would not be the one to inspire me to get help.  I find it puzzling that she calls Russell, the master manipulator who broke her jaw and tried to drown her, the “love of her life.”  I certainly do not refer to the man who hit me as “the love of my life.”  I do believe that Taylor suffered abuse in her marriage, but she clearly has her own anger management issues to contend with.

Comment by Missy on 2/09/12 at 4:06 pm

Even if you do believe that Taylor was abused by Russell, it’s still difficult to support her. We’ve watched her throw five-figure parties for her child, spend money on plastic surgeons, stylists, drivers, and professional chefs.  She was not an uneducated, unemployed women with no resources. She had a generous salary coming from her television show. She had rich friends who were willing to help her. Taylor stayed with Russell because she liked the money that she knowingly grifted from others, the fancy house, the parties, the trips, the clothes, all of it. She is an insult to women who left their husbands in the middle of the night with their children in tow, spent weeks in shelters, and worried endlessly about being found by their husbands who swore they would kill them if they dared leave.

Comment by Missy on 2/12/12 at 2:49 pm

Yes, Kyle, you were the wise rhobh when you told Brandi to “Let it go.’  As if she was going all crazy on you.  WHAT kind of crap diversion was that. You and Taylor have mutual manipulation attraction.  And, you and Taylor don’t make any sense when you talk about Russell.  He was horrible.  I loved him.  She lost her husband.  Blah, blah. Which is it.  However, they belch out some honesty when they both mentioned that they didn’t want Russell in jail because then he couldn’t make money.  Yes, well.  Ahem.

Comment by Toodybird on 2/12/12 at 5:37 pm

You nailed it girl…. spot on agree.  Taylor is the most manipulative, conniving, sicko ever and a pathological liar for sure.  She ruins every single gathering these women have and I have never seen a bigger drama queen. What a mess.  She needs rehab too by the way…. Not remembering half her dramas is a black out drinker"s issue.  Kyle is a total bitch and I cannot see what her husband sees in her.  She is fat, short and mean as hell.  Totally manipulative as well.  I actually like Adrienne more than you do but she should ease up on the filler and extensions, my God.  Poor Kennedy… That miserable Taylor is a toxic mother and the kid looks miserable and seriously disturbed.  Her birthdays. Those parties were for Taylor and she knows it.  Gag.  Like Brandi too, but she needs to chill, sit back and let those. Kyle etc make fools of themselves with their envy…. They already have, but sit back girl, don"t argue or defend,
