March 1, 2010 About |
![]() There is only one professional wine writer and winemaker in America. He also happens to make what another wine writer—Robert Parker—has called “the greatest kosher wine on Planet Earth.” Jeff Morgan wears many hats. The former West Coast Editor of Wine Spectator magazine now makes his Covenant and RED C Wines in the Napa Valley, where he lives and works. Covenant has received praise from many pundits and is the highest scoring kosher wine ever in Robert Parker’s influential newsletter, where it recently garnered 94 points. Jeff continues to write for such publications as The Wall Street Journal and has written 5 cookbooks in the last 8 years. His most recent, Domaine Chandon; Recipes from étoile (Chronicle Books) will be released this fall. In his spare time, Jeff also teaches at the Culinary Institute of America’s Rudd Center for Professional Wine Studies, in Napa Valley.
