Palestinian teen says he was sent ‘to kill Jews’

A Palestinian teen told police in Afula that he was sent to the city “to kill Jews.”

The 17-year-old was arrested Tuesday morning at the entrance to the Afula police station, where he arrived carrying a large knife in a plastic bag, according to reports. The security guard at the entrance asked the teen what he was doing there, to which he replied that he “was sent to kill Jews.”

The teen, a West Bank resident who has been arrested for residing illegally in Israel, was held for questioning.

Afula is located in northern Israel, near Haifa.
