Israel among ‘happiest’ countries

Israel is among the happiest countries in the world, according to an examination of international data by a finance website.

According to the site Daily Finance, an analysis of data compiled by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ranks Israel as the sixth happiest country in the world.

Israel scored high in “life satisfaction,” educational attainment and life expectancy, among other markers.

Eighty-one percent of Israelis self-reported that they were in “good” or “very good” health.

Denmark was rated the happiest country in the world; the United States was No. 11.
