    His new album doesn’t come out until Sept. 17, but Drake has released another teaser in the form of a new track. It’s called “Hold On We’re Going Home,” and it has a more mellow, disco-ish feel than his usual raps.

    It’s a big week for Drake, who also brought some major stars over to Toronto for the 4th annual OVO (October’s Very Own) Festival. The show included performances by Miguel, Lil Wayne and, best of all, Kanye West.

  • Steven Spielberg bails on ‘American Sniper’

    For the second time this year Steven Spielberg has dropped a big film project.

    In January, he indefinitely halted progress on the sci-fi movie “Robopocalypse,” and now, Deadline.com reports, he has announced he will no longer direct “American Sniper,” the film adaptation of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle’s autobiography starring Bradley Cooper.

    Spielberg’s tentativeness is nothing new. The legendary director spent 11 years getting “Lincoln” into shape before committing to it.

  • Seth Rogen to lead James Franco roast

    The prospect of Comedy Central’s upcoming James Franco roast got funnier on Friday when the network announced that Seth Rogen has been named Roast Master.

    The two Jewish actors go way back, having co-starred a little over a decade ago on the TV series “Freaks and Geeks,” and more recently in the films “Pineapple Express” and “This is the End.”

    The special will air on Sept. 2, improving Labor Day for fans everywhere and helping Jewish fans everywhere ring in the New Year (which hits two days later).
