Where did the crazy idea that Jews should not own guns come from? The idea is really suicidal. Many police departments, even in California, advise homeowners to own a gun and know how to use it. A 911 call could take hours before the police could respond to the call. We are each responsible for our own defense. Self loathing Socialists/Leftists would have us believe that the state will protect us. This simiply isn’t true.
It our constitutional right to own a gun. With that right comes responsibility. Being trained in the use of a gun is as important as learning how to drive a car. (Which is not a constitutional right.)
In Israel, the IDF lets their soldiers and sailors go home for Shabbat on Thursday evening. It is quite a sight to see 18 year old boys and girls scrambling to get on buses or hitch rides rides home with full auto rifles strapped to their backs. They are required to go home with at least two fully loaded magazines. Hmmm, Jews with guns. What a wonderful sight to see our young people defending Israel. No longer are Jews dieing with their hands tied behind their backs or being hearded into box cars.
Guns are not evil. Only people are evil. Criminals and terrorists do not bother to register guns. Where are the “Gun Control” advocates when the issue of getting illegal, unregistered guns off the streets is broached?
The police and governmental authorities should put more effort into finding kidnapped children or stopping state sponsored terrorism and Mexican drugs and make society a better place for us to live.
