I am wondering why some people on here seem to be haters, wow, I mean really.

To me it all boils down to this….. We are all being judged for our actions, responses, and even the way we think, by something much higher than you or me. If you act nasty do you really think you are going to be judged as being “good”, I think not. Did you forget that you are suppose to love one another and hate the sin not the sinner?

I was watching three panelists discussing this on Al Jazeera TV. An Israeli, a Hamas editor and a neutral man from the English parliament. The Englishman was against the rocket firing but deplored
the excessive use of force by stressing the amount of people killed on both sides. This is a valid argument on the face of it but he failed to recognize the amount of terror caused by the incessant rocket firing over the years. The news commentators all comment on the fears of the people of Gaza over the past two days. You can see it. How much is shown about the people of Sderot where people have lived in fear? Unless you show blood, it isn’t interesting, not newsworthy. Psychological warfare
is a term little heard of but is used by all armies. The incessant raining down of unguided rockets can well fit into this category. So when people cant justify the Israeli retaliation this is an appropriate response. Unguided missiles should be outlawed by the UN (Laugh) because they kill innocent people, including children.

Turkey and Armenian Genocide

Leave it to the Jews to get involved, where they should not.

It’s bad enough that Arab propaganda has made Israel into
some kind of demon state, and we Jews worse than….(deleted).

It’s bad enough that Europe believes Israel is the most dangerous country on the planet.

But for Israel and the American Jewish community to take sides in
this decades old war of words between Turkey and the Armenians,
is simply outrageous and ridiculous besides. It’s counterproductive.

Armenia does nothing concrete for Israel., while Turkey, still remains
a secular state (otherwise it’s 80 plus million people would join their
Muslim cousins in hating the small Jewish state). Turkey and Israel have military and economic ties. It allows Israeli overflights to test their long
range aircraft. It may ship water to Israel in the future.

Armenians in the US are Christians, and have little to do with we Jews on
a social level.

The solution is for Israel to not make a stand either way.

If American Jews, as individuals or organizations want to say it
was genocide, that’s fine. But they don’t speak for me or anyone
I know.

In a certain article about Madoff, Rob Eshman says that ‘If only Jews believed in hell…..‘

While we don’t believe in hell, there is a place that a very dirty soul goes to get cleansed. It is called gehenim. It is a very dark place where the soul is tortured by the bad mistakes it made.

Opposite of that of course is gan eden, where people get rewarded for the good they did.

And so we can rest assure that people do get what they deserve, whether it’s reward or punishment.

I think that we should turn this financial tradgedy around and do something good, for example, helping fellow Jews in whatever way we can.
In doing so, may G-d help us get through this time.

I had heard something about this. But here is an article. This doesn’t bode well for Israel at all if he becomes - G-d forbid! - President of the U.S.

Great New Hanukkah Song – “Festival” by Kohan of Newark

This has to be the best Hanukkah song that I’ve heard in a looooong time.

This isn’t some meshugeneh Adam Sandler song or cheesy holiday tune- this is a REAL rock song telling an amazing story.

I found a free link to it here:
http://vista.streamguys.com/jspiewak/kon_festival.wma

What do you think??

I love it

Pray that McCain is elected! Obama is no friend to Israel!

I am a Conservative voice of America. I have studied and learned the terrorist ties Obama has, both here and abroad, in Kenya with Odinga and the Middle East and Ahmed Yousef. He is not who you think he is. Al Jazeera and Hammas endorse Obama, why? As well as attacks both Bush and McCaine. That tiny fact alone should open up the Jewish communities eyes!
To Obama, Israels fight is an inconvenient one, not a worthy cause or right!
I will be visiting Israel early next year, and feel safe in doing so; why? Because Israel employs the kind of security that is not the liberally promoted POLITICALLY correct way, the way we here are FORCED to. I am coming to Israel now, because I do fear that if Obama is elected, Israel will suffer and will no longer be safe for me; It’s now or never in that case.
I am a Catholic and we support our Judeo-Christian heritage!

All I ask, is that any Jewish person who is sold on Obama, please, please just dig a little into his recent past and his allies, his radical views and plans for the WORLD.
A note on whether there will be Anti-Jewish sentiment because of Wall St; NO.
The fiasco was a forced issue on banks stemming from a 1970’s Democrat Bill to make lenders provide financing to risky borrowers; a noble idea yes, but dumb. As of more recently, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were basically blackmailing lending institutions in refusing to buy their business unless they provided these risky loans! The Democrats who run Fannie and Freddie were even trying to force the issue that the portfolio’s of Fannie and Freddie should include 50%, yes, 50% of these risky loans! Not 2% or 5% but 50% bad loans! Outrageous! Look at archival video and see the Republicans including Bush from 2001 thru 2007 and McCaine in 2005 (as well as many others) WARNING Congress! All the Dems DENIED a problem or even a potential problem! Some Dems have come forward in the past couple of weeks and even admitted their ‘mistake’ in denying this Republican warned impending disaster year after year!
If all you watch is CNN; you are missing the whole story, they simply cherry pick what THEY want you to know and bury the rest. As I am a FOX watcher, I get to see BOTH sides, I know of all of CNN’s ‘Cherry picked news’ as well as the REST OF THE STORY and ‘they’ HATE that!
I SUPPORT ISRAEL’S RIGHT TO EXIST AND THRIVE IN PEACE IN THIS WORLD AND WILL BACK UP THAT CLAIM WITH MY VOTE or more if necessary! The religious RIGHT is Israel’s friend, period!
May God Bless you all and keep you safe!
Mr. Rotbart: The Jewish support for Obama is NOTHING TO APOLOGIZE FOR.

The Jewish Community’s overwhelming support for Barak Hussien Obama is nothing to apologize for. It will be good for America and it will be good for Israel.

Bush was not such a good defender of Israel anyway, with his disregard for human rights and McCain just wanted more of the same.

What type of ally for Israel are we if we condone torturing prisoners? If we condone total disregard for constitutional freedoms of speech and privacy, habeus corpus requirements?

We have no moral leverage and no leadership in the world if we continue to be a colonial pariah nation. The muslims will not likely care one way or the other. But our former allies will. And we will when we look in the mirror.

We are much more useful to Israel’s peace and security as a leader of nations who respect us, than a pariah rogue nation that acts like a colonial power invading where we wish.

So Mr. Rotbart, save your apologies.

The Jewish community voted FOR ISRAEL by voting for Obama.

There’s nothing to apologize for, Mr. Rotbart.

Nothing to apologize for.
