Somehow, Saturday morning I arrived for the Service earlier. . Los Feliz Rabbi Korf, Josh and beautiful Arabel were discussing “Tania”. . It was very interesting: how something hidden beautiful, inserted in your genes or spirit by your G-d, parents or for-fathers sometimes, spontaneously getting out, becomes tangible part of you… ..
After the service Oran, nice man from Israel, had a yortzait. . Being from Russia, I enjoyed ice-cold “Stolichnaya”, G-d bless souls of his grandfather and all his family. . .
Suddenly I understood why non-religious man, with no Hebrew knowledge I enjoy services and Hebrew songs. . Thousands of people with no Italian background or understanding attended Pavarotti concerts due to the beauty of the art. .. .
Magnetic beauty of Hebrew melodies and language were installed in my genes by thousands of my for-fathers 5000 years enjoying songs, prayers and language.
And I said Le’haim to Rabbi Korf and all this beautiful people, his Capella, if I may say, at the tables.
It seams me, Stoly took her tall: instead of jokingly naming Rabbi our Pavarotti, I said paparazzi. .. .If it happened, Rabbi, please, forgive me. But it was one of the most beautiful services that I enjoyed… .. Shortly before leaving I stopped to chat with Josh… He always amazed me by logic and deepness of his knowledge. .. “So, I should say Sholom to a new converted Republican, in a view of recent Biden/Clinton talks,” asked I… ” As soon as hair cover my palms”... . Yaar. .
If the trained goes like this the US Government are going to lose this war in the Muslim world soon. Having said that let examine our statement to prove what we are predicting in the future.

The equilibrium method should be followed in the peace and wars. Why we go to war against any groups or countries?

We are going to wars because the conflicts are not solvable peacefully. And we want to protect our interest, meaning making more than we spending.
The US Governments policy makers bring home economic benefit for the people since World War II. We are not supporting that policy of the past but it is true.

First of all the Al-Qaida organizations want to overthrow the corrupt Government in the Muslim world but the US Government interfered to protect those Governments. The US Government actions pushed the Al-Qaida organizations to declare the war against the USA interest in the Muslim World. Logically look like the war between cat and mouse. Who thought that small organizations like Al-Qaida will be able to hurt giant country like the USA?

The Al-Qaida organizations was training and planning September 11 attack while the US Government counting how much money they made from Muslim world without listening to any worming. The Al-Qaida carried out the plan which was announced by Osama bin Laden long time before Sep. 11. The people were laughing when he declared his war against the USA. They call it one man war against the giant country like the USA is only foolish dreams.

September 11 attack give the opportunity to Bush administrations, they declared war on Afghanistan and Iraq, after spending trillions of dollars and thousand of lives. The country almost collapsed financially. The Bush administrations never admitted any wrong doing. They started blaming others for the failed policy of the Governments. Senator Obama come along and said few facts about the wrong doing of the US Government policy. The poor people of the USA rushed and voted for him in hope he will be better than President Bush in decision making.

After almost one year in office President Obama and his administrations are adopting failed policy of the Bush administrations.

We said equilibrium method above?

Let see how much Al-Qaida organizations spend in three recent cases below compared to the US Government spending in this war.
Imam Shakh or Sheik Anwar Al-Awlaki did not spend much to convince Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab compared to billions of dollars and lost of lives in the USA side.

The Al-Qaida recruited Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi to kill seven CIA officers and Jordanian high ranking officer without losing much. Listen to his Turkish wife below.

The smart President who is the Chief of the military and owner of this war will read this article and see throws it to find out what is wrong with the US Government policy.

We called on the US Governments to change the outdated policy of the past in favor of proposal we made long time ago. Unfortunately the US Governments are only listening to those who want to milk them. They like yes man advices, they not like people like us to challenge them.

We are saying Mr. President your policy is wrong and outdated. The USA will go down soon if you continue with this policy. Please listen to the reasons. We do not like to see farther hardship for the USA people, the USA economy will go down, and that was the goal of Osama bin Laden. They know what they are doing in this war but your team and your adviser does not understand the geopolitical area and the thinking of the people in Muslim world.

Sincerely,

In 2004 my mother began having a series of mini strokes. She had a number of slip and falls (fourteen) over a twelve month period, and fortunately was never injured, although bruised badly a few times, but none of the falls necessitated a hospital stay. Her speech was affected and she had therapy with a speech therapist at two different times for a six week duration each time. It hurt to see this vibrant, educated (two masters degrees), cultured person who was always active and went to foreign films, had season tickets to The Philadelphia Orchestra, and did volunteer work, suddenly become quite reluctant to speak when she was with her lady friends for fear her inability at times to get words out was somehow holding her friends back. It hurt to know she felt ashamed of herself and I tried whatever I could to convince her there was no reason to feel this way. During 2004 she had an aide come in for four hours a day who would help bathe her, make her lunch, and prepare dinner for my mom which my mom would heat up later.

In February of 2005 my mom had a debilitating stroke that put her in the hospital for one week, and then three weeks in rehab. She was a very strong and determined individual with an iron will and worked hard at rehab to walk with a walker and improve whatever way she could. Before she became ill anyone who met her could tell what a strong person she was. It was that inner strength that helped me and my two sisters when my dad was suffering with leukemia, and that inner strength that held us all together when he passed away. It was that inner strength that enabled her to hold on when the man she was very happily married to for forty four years became sick, suffered terribly, and passed away.

Knowing she could no longer be on her own, I went to an agency to get her 24/7 home health care when she returned home from rehab. The next eighteen months were the most wrenching and painful in her life and mine. In Pennsylvania, where my mom resided there are zero laws and regulations governing home health care and I learned that most agencies send out totally unqualified aides that are not vetted with criminal background checks, nor have they received any training whatsoever in caring for an elderly or sick person. Just three days out of rehab an inept aide dropped my mom and shattered her left wrist so badly that the radius and ulnae never fused together properly and my mom could no longer use a walker, and instead became wheelchair bound. Three weeks later another aide dropped my mom and broke three fingers on her right hand. This proud woman who I watched feeding herself when I visited her every day in rehab now had to be fed by others the rest of her life. Other aides dropped her and bruised her knee and ribs. Some walked out in the middle of the night and some were high on drugs.

With all the news now about health care reform there is absolutely nothing in any health care bill in Congress that addresses the home health care situation. It should also be noted that a lot of the same agencies that send inept aides out to the homes of infirmed individuals contract with nursing homes to supply them with aides and thus send out the same unqualified, inept aides to take care of the elderly in nursing homes. Abuse of patients nationwide at nursing homes is well known, and rarely from physicians or nurses. Has our government done anything at all to stop this? NO. We have laws and penalties for racial discrimination, for sex discrimination, for discrimination against gays, etc. but nothing whatsoever to protect the elderly. Nothing. It’s as though society totally devalues age and treats the elderly as though they are disposable.

I bore witness to this incredibly strong woman eventually losing her will and that alone broke my heart. More strokes occurred and the last one was a devastating one were she could not speak and stared for hours at a spotlight on the wall for the last six weeks of her life.

The two worst things in life are #1, watching someone you love suffer, and #2, knowing you cannot do anything to alleviate or end their suffering. Once you are a caregiver for a loved one and experience this your life will never be the same again. A person can be a good son or daughter but unless they have been a caregiver and been there day in and day out taking care of a sick parent they really have no clue whatsoever as to not only how to care for an infirmed parent but also of the toll it takes on the caregiver. Simply put, unless you have been there and done it, you have no understanding. Children whose parents are at a nursing home and who have relegated their care to others have no understanding whatsoever of what it’s like to put all your focus, all your energy, all your time, and all your devotion and love into caring for someone. Often times, too often, siblings who live a distance away are unhelpful and unsupportive.

I watched my mom suffer and I was there when she passed away and it was an experience that seared my soul and rendered my heart. The saddest word in the english language is “goodbye.” There is no more beautiful word than the word “love.” When you lose both parents, but especially a mother, who is the center of our universe, it makes you realize your own mortality. It makes you take stock of your life in a way you never did before. It makes you realize more than ever before that we should never go to bed angry with someone we love or let our anger take over our better nature. The words “I love you” are words that can make a person smile, make them glow, and make them unbelieveably happy. The word “goodbye” is the saddest word we can ever utter. If you have a infirmed or elderly parent, a sick child, or spouse in whatever amount of time you have left on this earth be sure to tell those you love how you feel about them because one day you will only have the sad sound of goodbye and that will linger in your mind forever.

Watching him prior to the election with the host of anti Israel cohorts I was very concerned about how Obama would treat Israel if he were to be elected.
Now with time and recent events it is clear to me that obama is exactly what I expected. He is no friend of Israel. He may use excuses about Bibi being right wing, or settlements being illegal or even taking chances for peace; but there is no question this guy does not have qualms about putting Israel at grave risk
When I see how he exacerbated the recent incident into a major confrontation, pressuring Israel to make another round of concession, he has crossed the line. One side can never be the one accountable for concession without encouraging the other side to exploit the situation, which is exactly what has happened from the start of the peace process.
The fact that 75% of the Jews bought obama’s snake oil presentation shows how much Jews want to believe, how much Jews want to be just. I wonder when Jews will be as for their own as they are for others and if not now when.

Religious beliefs and practices of the Jews. One of the three great monotheistic world religions, Judaism began as the faith of the ancient Hebrews, and its sacred text is the Hebrew Bible, particularly the Torah. Fundamental to Judaism is the belief that the people of Israel are God’s chosen people, who must serve as a light for other nations.

This in regards to the Western Wall. I read in a different place that there was a protest outside that area by a liberal Jewish group. They were on a trip and had an opportunity to pray at this holy site with others, and they could have, but sadly didn’t do so. It’s understandable, they feel restricted from doing things how they would like to, and they feel their way is just as good. I’m sure there are some liberal synagogues that they can go to though. However, the kotel should remain traditional.

Imagine, these siblings have a beautiful necklace that has been in their family for many generations and it’s value is enormous. Then one sibling says to the other one, let’s put some small diamonds on the pendent. The other sibling says, that sounds pretty, but I think we should preserve it the way it is.

The Kotel site is historic and very holy. We should preserve the traditional prayer service that has been there for a long time, for example, the two genders being on different sides, etc. The reason for this Torah law(oral) is so that so both genders don’t distract each other and can concentrate better when praying. Another reason is so singles don’t feel left out when they see spouses sitting together. _ With the genders on different sides, there’s no status, they are just one people praying together. In regards to females reading from the Torah, one reason they are prohibited is so to not put them in the spot light in front of everyone. Even if they don’t mind, the Torah still wants to protect their modesty. Plus, it’s not their obligation to do this, they have other obligations like lighting Shabbat candles and other things etc.
Anyway, at this very holy Kotel site, the Jewish laws should be kept to the fullest.
And if you want, you can go to a diff place that suits you better

While at the Kotel, let’s take in the spiritual energy that’s all around, pray with all our heart, and feel fortunate for the opportunity to be here with others. We Jews need unity right now, with unity, we are strong.
It’s so beautiful on Shabbat and holidays and on other days to see fellow Jews gathered together

If you are touring Israel, here’s a nice place to go to
