WAKE UP!!!!!!!

Either we are woken up by the alarm clock or by each other.

Let lovingkindness roll off your sleeve.

There is no need to be humble when god is as it is. Even as big as I could be, as grand and powerful, no matter what, there is more. I am ornamental. I am a ping pong ball.

  • The Cave

I have a wall too, you know, that doesn't want to be permeated, through to whom life seems too much,

I have to go home and mend like a cat licking its wound, patchwork on a plasma screen  when we come close to each other, too.
Plato's cave is bare and wide- but it only goes as... read on

  • Lovingly

    How to love life?

    to give it love?
pour onto it and see what grows

what if i loved you, Life?

(without life, I cannot know love….)
    love is the little juice
    life is the little fruit.
and I am a little bit of surrender and finally saying yes, it is worth it, without knowing that life spent all this time convincing me in the back around way,

yes, it is worth it to let the heart be touched by everything.

Falling in love again. Maybe I have been scared to. Maybe I am ready to take it on. This time, lovingly.

  • Your Love

    By Emily Stern

    October 29, 2013 | 6:26 pm

Your love could fly, could be grounded

    As if they were different.

    Your love could ask questions

Be in the stillness of the deepest silence

Your love could pop up and make this world greener

And more full. Your love could sit back, receive

Revere women and men and children and worldliness

Could tend the truth of Our divinity.

    I want to love you.

    Can I?

Really, this is me asking permission.

The repressed heart is really the worst fate,

    what Pharoah had to fear.

  • The Angels Are Men

    By Emily Stern

    October 17, 2013 | 6:46 am

    The angels conceal themselves
from those who could see them (Avraham could see them)
To him they must call themselves men.
And the angels reveal themselves to those who
Would never see them as angels
But still to them (Lot would not see them) the angels are men.

    And there was my heart
    That had tried every day
And the first love he breathed
He looked at in its most natural way.

    The early mercy became part
Of this tree and the red
Freedom peered and she began to
    Put on orange stockings and
    Walk to the news stand.

  • Living Tree

    The Tree

She asked me about the Tree of Life!
And I told her that all the way through her,
She can be a tree. Ever growing, ever giving, free.

Oh, says the woman, I choose to be a pear tree
That’s the kind of tree that I would like to be.

And her trunk is made of parts... read on
