In 2008, it was Jewish grandchildren persuading their grandparents in Florida to vote for Barack Obama. In this year’s election, some concerned Jewish grandparents in the New York City area were dispatched to use some leverage to implore their grandchildren to stop Donald Trump and go out to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Aimed at millennials – a key voting bloc unenthused about both presidential candidates, Bend the Arc Jewish Action released a video featuring a handful of bubbes and zaydes threatening their grandchildren to haunt their Tinder profile and leak ‘Game of Thrones’ spoilers if they choose to stay home on Election Day.

“This is probably one of the most important elections because there’s so much at stake,” one grandmother emphasizes in the video. “We have seen this before. We saw it in Germany and we don’t want to see it here,” another one says. “I’m afraid he’s far more than a putz,” one grandpa says about Trump.

“My ghost will make sure that the kale in your fridge will rot twice as fast,” says one grandma, turning to frighten her grandkids if they opt to stay home. “Boooooo!” says a grandpa, wearing a white ghost costume.
