Twist of Faith Movie Screening

Join Stephen S. Wise Temple and First New Christian Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, February 4th at 6 p.m. for a special pre-screening of the Lifetime Original Movie Twist of Faith, starring Toni Braxton (“Braxton Family Values”), Mykelti Williamson (“Forrest Gump”) and David Julian Hirsh (“Weeds”); produced and directed by Stephen S. Wise Temple member Daniel Blatt. Rabbi Eli Herscher (SSWT) and Pastor Norman Johnson (FNCF) will dialogue about the interfaith themes of the story. We will also be joined by the stars of the film, Braxton and Hirsch, for a question and answer session. This is a fictional, cross-cultural, music infused love story sure to entertain! We hope you will join us for this wonderful evening of fellowship and entertainment.

I've recently become close with Abe and Frank, two older guys in my neighborhood. At 90 and 88 respectively, they’re not the typical age of my other friends. At first I wasn’t sure if it was friendship. Maybe they were just humoring me or passing the time. Why would old people want to be friends with me, a 35-year-old?
