“The Good News on Global Violence Reduction, the Bad News on America, and How Interfaith Relations Can Help Shape our Future”
Presented by Marc Gopin
Although media reports suggest otherwise, the scientific reality is that
violence across the globe has been plummeting in recent decades. Why and
how is this happening? Research is showing that our values, attitudes, and
thoughts have a great deal to do with our evolution away from violence. Dr.
Marc Gopin will help us explore how our practice of and thought about
Judaism can affect our global future.
Marc Gopin (Ph.D., Ethics, Brandeis University) is the Director of the Center
