The Nutcracker

Discover the magic of the holiday season with family and friends at Inland Pacific Ballet’s The Nutcracker, southern California’s most spectacular holiday production. Celebrating their 18th season, critically acclaimed Inland Pacific Ballet brings The Nutcracker to life in this magnificent holiday ballet with dazzling sets, beautiful costumes, and more than 100 dancers on stage. This annual yuletide favorite tells the story of a young girl named Clara who receives a magical nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve, and sets out on a wondrous journey to the Land of the Snow and the Kingdom of Sweets. Toy soldiers, life-sized dancing dolls, and a fantastic dream with battling mice, dancing snowflakes, waltzing flowers, and the delightful Sugar Plum Fairy stir the imagination. This is family entertainment at its best, with cast members available after the performance for photos and autographs. IPB’s The Nutcracker is the holiday tradition your family will treasure!

New Old Friends

I've recently become close with Abe and Frank, two older guys in my neighborhood. At 90 and 88 respectively, they’re not the typical age of my other friends. At first I wasn’t sure if it was friendship. Maybe they were just humoring me or passing the time. Why would old people want to be friends with me, a 35-year-old?
