KBP Theatre Group is thrilled to present Jason Robert Brown’s acclaimed musical, winner of the Drama Desk award in 2002 for Outstanding Music and Lyrics. This production will be directed by Kristen Boulé, founder of KBP.
K Boulé Pictures is a new theatre group and production company devoted to the artistic, creative rejuvenation and exposure of great and original works. THE LAST 5 YEARS is a perfect way to kick it all off!
This show is being produced by Kristen Boulé and Kate Bowman, musically directed by Peter Darling, and stars Kate Bowman and Juan Lozano as Cathy Hiatt and Jamie Wellerstein.
The show follows the story of a five year relationship, told from each point of view. Jamie’s story begins when he meets Cathy, and moves forwards, and Cathy’s story begins right after the couple splits, and moves backwards. Their stories only meet once, in the middle, at the climax of the relationship. Each story is told through Jason Robert Brown’s hauntingly beautiful music, (performed by a live piano/strings trio) with sharp, witty lyrics.

I got offered a part in a Christmas movie over the summer. It’s called “Defending Santa” and stars Dean Cain, Jud Tylor and my movie wife, Jodie Sweetin, best known for playing Stephanie on “Full House.” REMOVE
Forget the movies — the man is making music. With more than 35 years of bringing New Orleans-inspired music to audiences all over the world, the band has mastered creating the sounds Allen has loved since childhood, including nods to George Lewis, Jimmie Noone and Louis
