Pasadena Jewish Temple & Center is sponsoring several programs on inclusiveness, to welcome and make comfortable people who might not fit the pattern of what many consider to be the norm. This program will focus on Jews with special needs, whether they are physically disabled, have developmental disabilities, mental health issues, or other health issues. How can a synagogue best support and accommodate these groups when planning programs, teaching classes, having religious services, socializing and sponsoring events, ensuring that these people feel accepted? Michelle Wolf, an expert on Jews with special needs will lead the workshop.
