Stress Reduction and Healing Via Yoga: Restorative Yoga Class
Restorative yoga is a method of doing traditional yoga poses with support and an emphasis on relaxation. Class is appropriate for everyone, including people living with chronic conditions. Participants will learn and do basic resting poses, resulting in a deeply awakened, yet calm and relaxed state – unity of body, mind, and soul. All yoga props will be provided.
Restorative yoga, was developed by BKS Iyengar, who healed himself with yoga, and paved the way to heal others. He has been granted numerous honorary degrees, for curing people as well as in helping people with chronic conditions alleviate symptoms and “endure what can’t be cured”.
