In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the “Night of Shattered Glass” in November, 1938, considered to be the precursor of the Holocaust, Beth Chayim Chadashim (BCC), the world’s first LGBT synagogue, is hosting a special screening, open to the entire community, of the multiple award-winning “Nicky’s Family,” a new documentary about Sir Nicholas Winton. Sir Nicholas single-handledly organized the Kindertransports and rescued 669 Jewish children. The event benefits BCC’s Torah Fund.
