Description

Post-Traumatic Growth: Finding Meaning After Cancer

This FREE informational workshop is intended to help improve the lives of those with cancer and their caregivers.

Survivors often describe their cancer journey as life-altering—actually finding new meaning, purpose and value after their diagnosis and treatment. This workshop outlines research and lessons learned from cancer survivors and their family members about how to live a more fulfilling life after cancer.
Mitch Golant, PhD is a health psychologist and currently Senior Vice President, Strategic Initiatives for Cancer Support Community (CSC). He is the co-author of seven books, a contributing author in many and, in 2011, received the Los Angeles County Psychological Association’s Distinguished Contribution to the Profession of Psychology Award.
