Listen in as Marty Sklar shares highlights from his extraordinary fifty-four- year Disney career as told in his new memoir, Dream It! Do It! My Half-Century Creating Disney’s Magic Kingdoms. Hired in 1955, at age nineteen, Sklar spent his first decade at Disney as a member of the creative team. He soon became Walt Disney’s literary right-hand man, and over the next forty years rose to become president and principal creative executive of Walt Disney Imagineering. He retired from the Walt Disney Company in 2009 and has since founded Marty Sklar Creative, Inc. A Q&A and book signing follow the program.
