Rachel Beller MS, RD, Spokesperson for the American Cancer Society and best-selling author of ‘Eat to Lose, Eat to Win’ is an acclaimed cancer nutrition and weight loss expert, who founded the Beller Nutritional Institute in Beverly Hills.
In this workshop, Rachel will provide a step-by-step, science based action plan to help optimize the prevention of breast cancer and its recurrence through nutrition. The lecture includes stunning facts about foods we think are healthy (Rachel’s trademark Food Autopsies™), and those that actually make a difference.
Rachel served as director of Nutritional Oncology Research and Counseling at the John Wayne Cancer Institute and worked at Cedars Sinai Medical Center where she conducted extensive research on the link between nutrition and breast cancer prevention. Due to the critical role weight loss plays in preventing cancer and other diseases, Rachel emerged as a leading nutrition and weight loss expert for a variety of media outlets including The Today Show, The Dr. Oz Show, The Rachael Ray Show, and Good Morning America. She served as the on-air Dietitian/Nutritionist for NBC’s hit prime-time show The Biggest Loser; was the nutrition consultant for the Oxygen Channel series Dance Your A** Off; served as Nutrition Lifechanger for Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers show and Extra TV, and is the go-to Nutrition Expert for Glamour Magazine, Vogue, Fitness, Shape, and other national and international outlets.
