Cantor Estherleon Schwartz is conducting special High Holy Days services as has been her tradition for many years. It’s an opportunity for those with no affiliation to enjoy and participate in up-lifting, creative High Holy Days services who otherwise have been missing this experience for all too long.
No ticket is necessary, and you may come to any of the services. Our only request is to bring cans of food to be donated to the local food banks and to make a donation to the Beth Shirah Congregation (a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation) which can be in honor or in memory of ??? to be permanently imprinted and memorialized on one of the High Holy Days prayer books that are used each year.
Cantor Estherleon feels it is very important that people from all walks of life, backgrounds and religions share in this experience to bring about peace and understanding of all cultures and to help end discrimination. So we welcome everyone, your family, friends, neighbors…
Rosh Hashannah Eve, Sep. 4th; Rosh Hashannah Morning, Sep. 5th; Yom Kippur Eve., Kol Nidre, Sep. 13th; and Yom Kippur Morning w/special memorial yizkor candle lighting service, Sep. 14th.
