For a Livable Los Angeles

If you care about our city, please join Leo Baeck Temple and 1000 other Angelenos from all over LA, at a special political action on Sunday, February 10 at 1:45 pm. Leo Baeck Temple has teamed with One LA to bring the four top candidates for mayor to listen and discuss our demands for better Rapid Transit through the Sepulveda Pass, affordable housing and better public education. This is a non-denominational event. Leo Baeck Temple is located across the street from the Getty. I really hope to see you there!

New Old Friends

I've recently become close with Abe and Frank, two older guys in my neighborhood. At 90 and 88 respectively, they’re not the typical age of my other friends. At first I wasn’t sure if it was friendship. Maybe they were just humoring me or passing the time. Why would old people want to be friends with me, a 35-year-old?
