“December Dilemma” Holiday Season Discussion

Come join us in a thoughtful and provocative discussion of the issues and challenges faced by multi-cultural and multi-ethnic couples and families in celebrating the winter holidays.

Share your challenges, hear the experiences of others, and discover some creative solutions to the “dilemma.”

Past participants often cite this event as one of the most rewarding and eye-opening of the entire year.

You need not be a Sholem member to attend and admission is free. Children are welcome and are free to attend/audit one of our age-specific classes in our secular (non-religious) Jewish cultural Sunday School.

Bagels and coffee available for purchase.

I've recently become close with Abe and Frank, two older guys in my neighborhood. At 90 and 88 respectively, they’re not the typical age of my other friends. At first I wasn’t sure if it was friendship. Maybe they were just humoring me or passing the time. Why would old people want to be friends with me, a 35-year-old?
